infotainment content on ... By Francesc Font, founding partner of Gimages:
Speaking with many media of this country, I wonder all the menial digital signage sector where many companies or grab their RSS feeds without permission, or asking permission to call Get them for free as if they were doing you a favor, in order to pass the news on their screens parks .
In this blog I would like to appeal to put serious and minimal regulation in this matter to avoid all the media consider "the screen" as companies in a sector not serious.
My thoughts goes through the following premises:
- journalists, editors, media ... must make a living Like the digital signage. Similarly many companies in our sector sell subscriptions (to me correctly) to the news channels, they should be reimbursed in part to the media.
- The way we communicate is changing the media, and digital signage is another. If you want, where information comes in written format and that suits the public of our environment, we must know how to work together.
I think that in the not too distant future, every waiting room, each airport terminal, each faculty / lobby bar of a busy building, to name a few, have their screens to communicate with digital systems signage, and I think that the news that inform the public of those screens will be of quality, fitted on the support (mostly silent), will be updated and will be fully aware of the media, the emissions are in screens all companies working in the digital signage on the national scene.
I speak in particular the case of news, but I put in the same bag to any company or take video feeds without permission of those who produce content.
At a recent conference, I heard a reporter from the sector say that the problem of the DS in Spain we do not know to content. The news feeds or anything else, they are still content to inform and help fill shelves. Let's do it right, then it will be impossible to improve them!
Greetings to all.
